Emma's absolute favorite fall decoration has definitely been the pumpkins. She goes crazy over them! She learned to say the word and she calls it a "pumpa". I got her a little pumpkin at Walmart last week and when I put in on the check out line she just pointed at it saying "pumpa" over and over again until it was safely back in her little hands. :)

The Piggy & The Birdie
We had a wonderful visit this past weekend from Emma's Grandma and Great-Grandma. Grandma got Emma a birdie and Great Grandma got her a piggy. Emma has been carrying them around with her non-stop since she got them, she even takes them to bed with her at night. It's so sweet!

Animal Line-Up
Emma and I were playing on the floor when I asked her where the doggy was. I expected her to point to Molly or Harrison but instead she went to her bucket of stuffed animals and pulled out her stuffed dog. I wanted to see what other animals she knew so I lined some of them up. The only one she didn't know was the frog.

More Please!
You guys are too smart on the Emma trivia - I am going to have to make harder questions! Emma's very first sign was "milk" when she was about 5 months old and she has currently learned "more" and "all done". We have been working on "please" and she has done it a few times over the past couple of days. I have a video of her signing "more" but she wouldn't cooperate for "all done".
Crazy Hair
I washed the blankets that Emma sleeps with and forgot to put a dryer sheet in with them when I dryed them. They must have had a lot of static because this is how Emma woke up. She had that hairstyle all day!

TRIVIA ANSWER:
Well, the only thing on the list that Emma does actually enjoy is riding in the car. She dislikes the other three but at the current moment her least favorite is having her face wiped after a meal. She also hates diaper changes because that requires sitting still for a moment.:) She is pretty good about going to bed now but will let out a few squeals before she actually falls asleep. We have a couple of books that end with the words "night, night" and no matter what time of day I'm reading it, Emma will fuss every time I read those words.

Emma Trivia Answer #1
The majority got it right! Emma currently has 6 teeth, 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom. She has a 7th tooth cutting through on the top right now but it isn't quite visible yet.

EMMA TRIVIA
I know that most of you who look at Emma's blog rarely get to see her or spend time with her, so I thought it would be fun to do little trivia challenges so that you can learn more about her. To the left I will post trivia questions about Emma and her likes, dislikes, etc. You will have 3 days to vote for what you think is the right answer. I'm pretty sure you can vote even if you don't have a gmail account, so please vote! :)
Emma A.K.A. "The Can Opener"
In the 10 month slideshow I'm sure you have all seen the picture of Emma sitting on the floor surrounded by cereal. Well, when I took the picture I had no idea how she had gotten the container open - we soon discovered how she did it. Needless to say, we no longer keep them within her reach. Little stinker.

Petrified Of Produce
For some reason Emma is scared of the produce in Grammy & Grampy's kitchen, but not in ours at home. We think it has a connection to "Lelani" which is a creepy musical hula-dancing doll that used to sit on the baker's rack in the kitchen. She was so scared of it that we had to put it away. :)
