Merry Christmas Eve!

The Movie Box

Emma has always loved her "Baby Einstein" videos but in the past few weeks she has become quite obsessed with them. She asks to watch them several times a day by saying "moo-eee" and signing "please" over and over again - and if I tell her yes she squeals like a maniac. She kept getting too close to the tv while watching them so I created this "movie box" and she loves it!

The Wheely Bug

Emma got this ride-on toy from her Grandma Cox for her birthday. At first she wasn't quite sure how to get on it but obviously she has figured it out. We didn't get it on video but she will actually stand all the way up and balance herself on it - she is going to give me a heart attack!

Decorating the Tree

It didn't take Emma long to warm up to the Christmas tree - now she is having fun decorating the bottom half. She got a big bucket of plastic food for her birthday and I am constantly finding them in the tree, I have also found socks and shoes in it! :)

Monchichi Mania

My absolute favorite toy as a child was my monchichi. I loved it so much that it's hair kept falling off and my mom had to keep super gluing it back on. When I was in college my mom got me a new monchichi for Christmas and I think it was the most excited I had gotten over a present since I was little! I recently got it out of storage and gave it to Emma and she loves to play with it. Below is a picture of me with my monchichi and Emma with hers.

Messy Monkey

I don't even know why I try to clean my house. Emma likes to follow me around the house while I'm cleaning and mess up everything behind me. She especially loves to pull all of the clothes out of her dresser drawers and all the books off the bookshelf. She is such a little stinker. On a good note though, she has learned what "clean up" means and she will help me put things away now. :)

Emma got this wagon from her Great Grandma Jody. It was a bit too chilly to take it outside today but we had fun riding inside. I'm sure this wagon will bring many years of fun!

About a week ago we were getting ready to go somewhere and I told Emma it was time to go "bye-bye" and I grabbed my purse. She ran back to her room and came out with her purse slung over her arm too!
