Emma loved trick-or-treating. She loved seeing all the other kids and the decorations. We taught her to say trick-or-treat but of course she was too shy to say it. As soon as the people closed their door she would say "trick-or-treat, Thank You! and See You Soon!". Little stinker!

Mmmm.....Candy!
Well, I guess you could say that we are mean parents because we only let Emma have 5 Smarties out of the package and then we gave the rest of the loot away to trick-or-treaters. The only candy she's ever had are the M&M's she gets when she uses the potty so she was quite intrigued, and she would have eaten A LOT!

Daddy's New Truck
Aric finally got the big truck he's been wanting for so long, he's like a little boy on Christmas morning! Emma loves to ride in it. Whenever we go somewhere she asks to ride in the "big truck". Hmmm, we might have to get a 2nd car seat.

Play House
Emma has been obsessed lately with building "houses" with furniture and blankets. My Dad came across this big box the other day and made Emma and Tucker their very own house, complete with a door and windows. It was a huge hit of course!

Rain, Rain Don't Go Away
Emma loves to watch the rain. A downpour had just come and gone and she obviously wanted it to come back. She is saying "Rain, where are you?" and making a kissing noise for it to come back. She got that from when we call the dogs inside.

Birthday Bonfire
Aric surprised me with a little bonfire party for my birthday. I had no clue he was planning it and it was so much fun! We had chili and then made s'mores over the fire. The kids had a blast. Emma loved the fire and of course the s'mores but she was infatuated with the full moon. She talked about it all the way home and this morning when I got her out of bed I asked her if she had fun last night and she just kept saying "big moon". It was a wonderful birthday that I'll always remember!
Tanganyika Wildlife Park
On Friday we wanted to take Emma to a new wildlife park in our area that has endangered and rare species. It was an incredibly windy day but we braved it anyway, and it made it nice because we were the only people in the whole park! Emma had so much fun - she got to feed a camel, pet birds, hop with the kangaroos, hang out with lemurs and go down the big slides with Daddy. It was so neat how close you can get to the animals. It was a fun day!
