I think Aric needs a Guitar Hero for his birthday. :)

Soccer Ball
Emma has several soccer balls that she loves to play with. She loves to throw them and kick them, she is getting pretty good at dribbling it for a long distance.
Little Hat
I was sorting through and organizing Emma's baby clothes and I came across her little hat from the hospital **sniff sniff**. Emma loved wearing it around the house all day.

Baby #2 Update
I had a Dr.'s appointment today and it went great. The baby's heart rate was 156, he or she was much less hyper this time around! We get to find out the sex of the baby in 4 weeks, I can't wait!!!
I love this girl!
Emma and I were just hanging out at home yesterday when I heard her in her room talking about shoes. Not a big surprise, she's been obsessed with putting on socks and shoes lately. Then I see her sprint across the hallway to my bedroom and I begin to wonder what she's up to. Then she comes sprinting down the hallway with her hippo and wearing one of my headbands. She grabs my purse and yells "bye-bye Mama, bye-bye Harrison, bye-bye Molly"! Then she ran to the front door, said "uh-oh" and then came back to give all 3 of us kisses goodbye. It was so stinkin' cute!

Eeeew!
A new favorite word for Emma - when she sees bugs, finds anything on the floor, has dirt on her hands or feet and when she throws Harrison's fetch ball for him (which really is disgusting).

Revenge.............
........for all the stolen food and chewed up toys. Yes, I know I shouldn't encourage dog torture but a special dog deserves special treatment. In fact, Emma is chasing him with the popper as I type this. :)

Independence Day
We had a fun 4th of July. We went swimming, grilled out and then went over to my parents house to watch fireworks. We got Emma some of those "snap-pop" things and she loved them. Emma was also able to meet some family for the first time. She is usually extremely shy around new people but she was very friendly and loved playing soccer and football with her 2nd cousins Jacob and Seth. She must have felt comfortable because they are both tall like her Daddy. When it was time for the big fireworks Emma wasn't scared at all but would shriek, "OH, WOW!" every time she saw one. It's amazing how much fun it is to see things through a child's eyes.
