A Toddler's Version of a Story

One of Emma's new favorite books is "Spot's Easter Egg Hunt" and we have read it atleast 50 times over the past few days. I was nursing Cora when she wanted me to read it so I asked her to read it to me instead. On this page I always say, "There was no Easter egg hiding by the kitty" and Emma's version was, "Spot smelled the kitty's poopy". Aric and I had a good laugh over that one.

It's Happened Already

Cora had her 2 month check-up today. I knew here pretty soon that she would catch up in size to her cousin Chloe who is 4 months older. Chloe is a little peanut and Cora is a chub-a-wub and they both weigh the same!
Here are Cora's stats:
Weight - 14 lbs., 98th percentile
Height - 24 inches, 97th percentile

Chatterbox

Cora has been such a quiet little baby since the day she was born. She hardly ever cries or makes noises but just in the past week she has really discovered her voice and we've been hearing a lot of chattering lately. Here are a couple videos of her sweet little voice.

Emma's Shopping List

I was making a grocery list today when Emma told me that she wanted to make one too. I figured she was just coloring until she showed it to me. I was surprised to see that she stayed even with the lines and her scribbles looked really similar to letters.

2 Months Old!

Spring is in the air..........

The weather has been wonderful the past few days so we have spent a lot of time outside. Emma had fun enjoying her swing once again and being a goofball for pictures while Cora had a nice nap in the sling.

Precious Little Girl

We finally got Cora's newborn pictures back, so here they are! They turned out beautiful - I want her to be that little again! I noticed that the slideshow cuts off the edge of the horizontal pictures but if you click on the "view all images" button you should be able to see the whole thing.
