A Little Bummed
Operation Induction was a no-go this morning. The amniotic fluid levels have to be at 50 or above to induce this early and the levels are only at 44. We were fine with it because of course the ultimate goal is a healthy baby, but we were also so excited to possibly get to meet her today!

Excited, Nervous, Anxious, Overwhelmed..................
and the list goes on and on! My Dr. called yesterday morning and said that we are scheduled for the amnio at 7 am tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. Then he proceeded to say that if the baby's lungs are fully developed we will immediately move into the induction - WHAT??? I guess I figured the induction might happen the following day or something. I am feeling every emotion possible right now, it's much easier to go into labor unexpectedly! My plan today is to finalize a few things but most of all spend every moment possible with my sweet little Emma. I know she is going to be a wonderful big sister and I can't wait to see the two of them together!
Fun At The RH Gym
Emma got invited to the Rose Hill Gym last night to play with her friend Ryker. They had a great time! Emma woke up this morning asking to see Ryker again and play at the big gym. I love the "Senior picture" pose. :)

The Princess Chair
The big hit on Christmas day was Emma's new princess chair from Grammie & Papa. On Christmas night when we put her to bed she wanted the chair in the room with her so we put it along the wall. Emma usually falls asleep pretty quickly after we put her to bed but that night she was in there talking up a storm for about 30 minutes. I finally went and checked on her and of course I found her sitting in the princess chair, IN her bed!

Baby Girl - 37 weeks
We had our ultrasound today and they are estimating her weighing about 7 lbs, 13 oz. or less. We will be having an amniocentesis early in the week and if her lungs are fully developed we will be having our baby a lot sooner than we thought! We are very excited. The picture is of the baby's head and all of her hair. If you look directly above the bright white line, that is the hair.
Silly Dog
Harrison can be a huge pain but he sure does get some cute giggles out of our little Emma.
Christmas With Grandma!
Emma had a wonderful Christmas with her Grandma! She got lots of great gifts but the favorite had to be her new red scooter and helmet. She loves riding the scooter but as you can see, she loves wearing her helmet even more. She wore it all night and then she wanted to take it to bed, so we let her. The next morning when I heard that she was up I told Aric, "I bet you anything she has that helmet on", and she did! She even had to eat breakfast with it on.

Baby Poll!
I thought it would be fun to have a baby poll game where you can guess when you think the baby will be born, weight, height, etc. Just click on the picture to the left and post your votes!

Big Girl Room
We have kind of been procrastinating putting Emma in her new room for bedtime - not really sure why, fear of refusal I guess. We decided that we would try a nap in it Saturday afternoon and she slept great so we tried it for bedtime too. She fell right asleep and didn't make a peep until 8:00 this morning! We are thrilled that she took to it so easily. She even woke us up by saying, "Yay, I sleep in big girl room!".

Ready to be a big sister!
I just love this video. Emma is so sweet with her baby doll, which she has decided to call the name of her new little sister (and no, I'm not going to say what it is). She loves to rock her, feed her and change her. I always catch her saying things like, "It okay baby, don't cry". It has been nice having her cousin Chloe around often because she has learned a lot about babies and I think it has helped prepare her for what's to come soon!
