It's Potty Time!

We are finally getting around to the potty training process with Emma. I have felt a lot of guilt for this because I know that she has been ready for such a long time. When she was about 18 months old she showed a lot of interest so I slowly started the process and she caught on pretty well but then became very uninterested. Then Cora came along and it definitely wasn't going to work then! Then I started work back up and she split 3 days a week between my sister and my mom. There's no way I could expect them to help with the process with 4 kids. Anyways, I'm done with work for the summer and I was super excited to start potty training! I made Emma her very own potty sticker chart and told her that she could pick out a toy at Target when she got it filled up. We started on Thursday and she filled up her chart today and she only had 5 accidents over the 5 days - I am thrilled! We went to Target this evening and she was so proud of herself. We told her she could pick any toy from the dollar spot and she picked a 2-pack of tennis balls. My mom also gave her a dollar to spend and she got a book of stickers with that. She actually immediately picked out a kitty litter pooper scooper but we finally talked her out of it. :)
